How to measure your best friend

What you will need:

• Tape Measure (either a Tailor's or a Trades tape) or a Ruler;
• A dog (naturally);
• A good memory; and
• A positive attitude!

The 3 Easy Steps:

1. Get your dog in the same room and try to get him or her standing as still as possible

2. Using your tape measure along the spine of your dog, measure the distance between the base of the neck and the base of the tail.  

3. Based on this measurement, you will have a number between the above numbers in centimetres or inches. The following is a table of our sizes and recommendations:

With sizing, it truly depends on how you wish for your dog's jacket to fit. Some owners prefer a more snug, smaller fit while others prefer a larger and cozier fit on their best friends.

Pro-Tip: Measure your dog's neck with a soft measuring tape and add about 2 1/2 cm (one inch) to select the correct size.
